Description
This interesting landscapes of The Palouse, the Columbia River Gorge, to the Willamette Valley in the Western Oregon is known to be formed after the cycles of glacial flooding caused by Glacial Lake Missoula's Ice dam repeated breaches during the last Ice Age. In short, enormous flood waters caused these landscapes present in Western Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
